Joe and I would like to share with you some of the things we are doing around our house.

Of course, you have to realize this is the house from Hell. Whoever owned the house before us, obviously didn't believe in levels, squares, or any other tools for that matter. We do believe they relied mostly on baling wire and bubblegum.

We are on a very tight budget, but who isn't these days, so it helps that we can do the labor ourselves. I'm Terry, and of course, I'm the gopher (you know go fer this, go fer that) my husband tells me every job needs one.

So here we go. I'll show you how we are little by little trying to change hell into heaven.

Garage Wall

The first project that I will highlight here is our lovely garage wall.  The only way to get to our cellar was to go through the garage and around a corner.  This made it difficult to bring any 8 foot stock to the cellar where the main power tools are.  So we decided we would put a door on the outside that was adjacent to the cellar door inside so we could have a straight run with the material.  Well, it was supposed to be a simple project, but of course not in the house from hell, nothing is simple
